Gearbox Shifter

The gearshift lever is easier to install if some lithium grease is smeared around the base of the shifter and inside the opening. Three bolts attach the shifter to the transmission. After the shifter is in place, two sensors can be installed from the interior of the car through round openings in the transmission tunnel. The first and most reward is the reverse light switch. In front of that and slightly lower is the speed sensor. Since one rubber grommet was missing, metal duct tape was used to cover the second hole. Frankly, the lower hole is probably unnecessary because the speed sensor is easily accessed from beneath the car.
